Flowers - especially temple flowers.  When Baylie chills when you watch TV.  Not cold days.  Smell of pine trees.  Semi clean house for just a second.  Five loaves and two fishes scripture account - plus President Faust's GC talk on it from April 1994.  Texting Mason on Monday and hearing about his week and soccer/volleyball Pday and his leadership conference with lots of new information and testimony building stuff.  The sacrament.  Columbia pants.  Watching Ry's soccer game with Cam and Baylie.  Her team being no longer winless.  Temple day.

Ew - packing - I don't like packing.  D's pneumonia.

March 25, 2019

From Mason's email:

Heyyyy! How is everyone doing this fantastic week? As for us, we're doing really well! This week was a great week!

We had MLC with Brother Donaldson and he taught us some awesome things that blew my mind! Here's a little tidbit, "The word in Latin for revelation is Revelo - re is back and velo is veil. Revelation literally means pulling back the veil." When we receive revelation, it's straight from heaven.

We also learned a lot about prayer. In my studies this week, I studied Enos. I spent about a whole hour just studying the first 10 verses. You can find so many things to do that will enhance your prayers and I would highly encourage everyone to study Enos 1:1-10 and see all the things you can learn about prayer.

The girls' doodling of California - they're excited.  Gunlock Falls.  Ryan Hamilton.  Two other comedians (Alex Velluto and Steve Soelberg).  Laughing.  Laughing more.  Kolob Canyon with snow.  "Tip of the Sip".  Writing Mississippi.  Unexpected fluffy snow on our snowshoe.  Sledding down Mill Canyon.  Hot chocolate holder that warms your hands up.  Old pine trees with branches to hang stuff on.  Taking Sadie and Becca to the temple.  Going to Ry's soccer game and eating at Tony's Burgers after which included a shake.

Ew - Darren's poor cough.

From Mason's email:

Hey yall! It's just another day in paradise as they say here in the tip of the sip. So I definitely forgot to include that I got transferred last week, but my first week here has been awesome! It's been a crazy busy and crazy successful week so lemme just get right into it.

To start off, this place couldn't be more southern. Elder Nelson and I have to work on our accents. 😉 Also it's been awesome to be with Elder Nelson again. We've been Killin it. We found 13 new people to teach this past week and were able to set a baptismal date with another lady. We had 5 pretty solid commitments for people to come to church, and only one came, but she enjoyed it and will hopefully be there next week too!

March 11, 2019

Another awesome story that I've already shared with my parents so sorry mom and dad! But we were on splits with the assistants and Elder Ridgwell and I were biking and there was a girl getting the mail. So we stopped her and told her to get her parents so she went inside and her mom peeks her head out the door and just says something like "we already know Jesus, thank you though!" Well we just kept talking about how she came to have so much faith and somehow ended up on her doorstep talking to her. We shared the scripture in Matthew about how they draw near to me with their lips but their hearts are far from me and she said "no way! My husband and I were talking about that just last night and how there's so much confusion in the world! We shared in Amos 8 about the apostasy and then in acts 3 about the restitution of all things and said, we have the restored church of Jesus christ. She accepted a book of Mormon and it was an awesome lesson! She wants us to come back on Tuesday and teach her family of 8. 6 kids and her and her husband. It was an awesome miracle!

March 4, 2019

Mason was able to go to lunch with the ward mission leader from Memphis today (Brother Jackson).  He was excited to see him and said they talked so long that he is out of time for an email.  He asked me to share a few things we talked about this morning.

He said it is super cold there and he's trying to stay warm in the 27 degree weather today.  He also shared some miracles that have happened with Hubert since he was baptized.  First, Hubert's job had him working on Sunday and he could only come to church when someone would cover for him.  Now, he has 4 hours off every Sunday to come to church.  Second, his wife, who is not interested in the church, will now take him to church every Sunday.  Third, Hubert and wife were going to have to move but his landlord has made it possible for them to stay.
