From Mason's email:

Soooo not a ton of time right now because we hiked Pinnacle Mountain today but let me give you a couple highlights. Hubert got Baptized, we had zone conference, and I got sick. But it really has been an awesome week!

So Hubert wanted to move his date up so after some hectic days, we made it happen. He got baptized and he is awesome! We love him!

We had zone conference, learned a lot and did a lot of finding this week. I also am kinda sick but the lord sustains us!

February 24, 2019

Good stuff:
Monday - pizza and museum and color wall.  Mason texts and phone call! Catan (Kenz playing is hilarious). Good YCL meeting with waffles.   Sunday morning blue sky and sun shining on snowy mountains.  Family Come Follow Me Sunday morning discussion.  Ry and Cam paper plate paintings.

Eh:
Darren's foot.  Not feeling confident on our snowshoe.  Disaster Sunday dinner. High temperatures were in the 20s most of the week.

February 18, 2019

From Mason's email:

Hey yall, it's been another great week! It was honestly one of the best weeks in a long time. I can't believe this transfer is already halfway over, but we're killin it while we are in Little Rock. Trying to baptize the whole city.

Something else I wanna talk about is a man named Hubert. So let's just say he knows anything. And everything that we will ever teach him because he's studied up about the church for over 40 years. So we've been "teaching" him for a couple weeks and he's getting baptized on March 3rd! We're excited for him and it's been a miracle that we found him.

Good stuff:

Mason emails.  Taking Becca and Sadie to the temple.  Sledding with Lorien - way fun 15 minutes as we sled down Dry Creek after hiking up to the meadow.  Kenz and Tanner being safe in a blizzard. Saturday night good movie with popcorn followed by a burger.  Cam and Sadie singing along to Frozen.  "You don't know what you don't know."  Lots of good talks listened to - Elder Holland and Brother Corbridge in particular. Choir performance - it gets me every time (we sang It Is Well With My Soul - "And Lord haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll, the trumpet shall sound and the Lord shall descend, even so it is well with my soul.")

February 11, 2019

From Mason's email:

This week we've had a great time. We rode our bikes approximately 700 miles so ya not a bad week. 😉On Tuesday we had service at the Mosaic church and it was great. We've been doing that every week and it's been pretty fun honestly. Service is the best!

We had stake conference this week and it talked about the history of the church in Arkansas which was actually super cool to hear. I'll have to tell yall about it some day. Hubert came to that and were hoping to baptize him soon. Other than that though, it's been a fairly normal week!

As for Hubert - he is suuuuuuper prepared. So he stopped us at Kroger a couple weeks ago and said he had moved here from Dallas just barely. He was learning about the church down there and wanted to meet with missionaries up here. So we went by a couple days later and it we were convinced it was a member just messing with us because he has read the Book of Mormon multiple times, he read D&C and Jesus the Christ and True to the Faith. He quoted some book of Mormon scriptures and asked us what the brother of Jareds name was. WHO ASKS THAT!? But he just has studied up a lot and were teaching him all the lessons now. He came to stake conference yesterday and it's a miracle we ran into him. Hopefully he'll be baptized soon. If all goes well.

My thought today would just be a simple one about the Book of Mormon. I know it's true and I know that everyone can gain a witness that it's true if they just ask. So try it out for yourself. Read it and ask God if it's true and you WILL get an answer!

February 10, 2019

Missionary emails - especially from my favorite elder who hit 16 months this week. Cam’s willingness to help me when asked. When Cam said, “I’m not really a bling bling kind of chick.” Seeing Cam and Kenz laugh hysterically. Having 4 wheel drive option. Supporting a friend. Sadie’s SEP talking with her teacher and getting fabulous feedback. Darren being so good at his job. President Nelson. Chatting on a couch. Linking conference talks to scriptures. Deep, beautiful, fluffy, white snow plus exploring a different part of granite flat on snowshoes. Kenz and tanner being safe driving through a blizzard.

Icky stuff - more dentist. Rylie with a bad cold.
