2 things to remember that make me smile.  1.  When Darren uses his Chinese accent.  2.  When Baylie carries her frisbee like a taco.

Janury 29, 2020

Getting together with Tami and Kelly is always good.  We took it up a notch and went axe throwing instead of just dinner or lunch.

January 25, 2020

Playing soccer pong in the Bateman basement was fun.  Also, I like having nieces and nephews around.  (And I found out that nieces and nephews can be called "niblings".). I love my unicorn family pic that Brynnlee drew for me.

January 24, 2020

So much fun with missile sleds and snow these past two days.  We may look odd hiking up and people look at us, but it's fun sledding down in no time.

January 19, 2020

Good Sunday afternoon with my parents and sister.  My mom made my favorite peas and potatoes with chicken and my dad was telling stories.  Also played Jokers and Marbles.  Good to have Kenz and Tanner and Sadie along.

January 18, 2020

Always good to have Mason around.  Lots of foosbal playing.  It was fun when Darren and I played Mason and Rylie even though we lost (twice).

January 17, 2020

I just love that Sadie walks to school come rain or snow or sun.  And that her friends do the same thing.  This week had some great morning skies as she walked to school.

January 16, 2020

Today ended up being a "take time to do things we never seem to have time for" instead of going hiking.  It ended up being a wonderful morning.  And we were able to visit this abandoned bus I've always wanted to see.  (Located on I-80 by the pretty much deserted town of Delle, Utah.)

January 15, 2020

Just want to remember my kids right now. Like Rylie who comes home from soccer in black workout clothes and her hair in a high pony telling me about senior year registration. And Camrie when I say something and she gives me that look - the I want to roll my eyes at you  but I won’t go that far look. And Sadie all cute in her NASA sweatshirt walking to school in the morning even though it’s freezing cold. Like so cold that I had to wait for a slight thaw before I would take Baylie on a walk this morning around 9:00.

(Ry sent me this pic of her and Baylie in the Pilot.  :))

January 14, 2020

Just been thinking about and listening to talks on joy versus worldly pleasure and just how to find joy even when I make mistakes or especially when I do stupid things.

(Cool sunrise clouds this morning as Dane and Sadie walk to school.)

January 13, 2020

(I very much enjoyed Seussical - even the second time.  The Cat in the Hat is hilarious and it was just a fun play.  Thanks to Sadie and Kenzie and Sandee for coming with me.)

January 12, 2020

Thoughts from this week. Chilling in the house in the winter can be a wonderful way to spend a day. Also - fluffy snow is the best. Makes great sledding on trails and makes things really pretty. Also, some days do not go as planned in any way. Also, we love Jokers and Marbles.

(A bit of Good Luck Charlie watching after school.  Thanks Disney Plus.)

January 9, 2020

(Such a good snow sledding day on the Donut Falls trail up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
The snow was so soft and when we first got there it was snowing and then it was sunny with some blue skies and it was just awesome.)

It was a day of driving.  First off up to see this cute friend of Ry's for Patty's mom's funeral.  Then to Ephraim to get Mason settled in for college next week.

January 3, 2020

Today was a good, sunshiny day.  I got to go snowshoeing in the morning with Kelly around Granite Flat.  Then we bought a Toyota Highlander in the evening for a new outfit (which is what my dad calls vehicles).  Then these two playing foosball just topped things off.

January 2, 2020

Going to miss this kid when he heads to Snow College.  Here he is with his "desk".  :). What you don't see is that he is sitting on the floor.

Also, Cam and her dog are funny.  This evening Cam was racing Baylie up the stairs.  Baylie kept winning.

Going to try and do a pic a day this year.  Here goes:

Moab in the off season is awesome.  Also awesome - these two.  They make me laugh - really hard.
