What a beautiful day.  The weather was amazing.  It was a great day to coach a softball game and watch Ry's soccer game.

I just smile when we are reading scriptures as a family and someone reds "winky face" or "one eyed winky face".  :)  There are a lot of winky faces in the New Testament.

Sometimes Mason and his friends have fun on a rainy Saturday afternoon by playing soccer at the park.  I love that there are goals there for a minute.  The boys were quite wet when they were finished.

So weird to have a kid's bday and have the kid not live at home.  Their bday is not quite an excuse to play when they're not around.  At least she went on a hike which is what I would have wanted to do to celebrate.

Awesome, awesome, awesome hike to Cassidy Arch in Capitol Reef.  Like way awesome.  D, Ry, and I spend some great time at CR today.  I need to spend more great time there.  The hike to Chimney Rock was shortened thanks to near gale force winds.  It was still kinda cool.

General Conference rocks.  (Not sure why I had such a hard time staying awake this  year.)  Bishop Causse's talk was probably my favorite.  "To marvel at the wonders of the gospel is a sign of faith.  It is to recognize the hand of the Lord in our lives and in everything around us."

First game of the season and Mason played spectacular.  Loved watching him!  He mentioned really enjoying osccer.  I'm so glad he has a positive place to play.  He also mentioned being glad he gets to play almost all of the game with this team instead of only a few minutes if he would have made a different team.  I like watching him play almost the entire game and not just a few minutes as well.  :)
