From Mason's email:

Being a missionary really is the best! We got transfer news and I will be getting transferred my last 6 weeks to Searcy, Arkansas. It'll be fun because that was the first zone I was ever in! I'm excited to see what happens for the next 6 weeks!

This week was such a good week. The highlight was definitely on Friday, we had a meeting with all the leadership in the mission and Elder Martino from the seventy came and taught us so much! He is really high energy and it caught me off guard a little. But it was such a spiritual meeting. After it ended he said it was one of the best MLCs he's been to, and I can definitely second that. We learned so much and it was a real testimony builder for me. It was really cool because I went into he meeting with a couple questions, but I didn't tell anyone the questions. Well, my questions were all answered during the meeting and it just goes to show that The Lord really inspires those who he calls.

August 19, 2019

Hey yall! It's already been a week? Wow. The days just kind of blend together for me and every day is super busy. Basically I remember what day it is on Sunday and that's about it. But it's a good busy and we're enjoying it.

This week we found an awesome firefighter named Billy. So we had 15 minutes before dinner, and we visited a part member family right before it. We could have gone right to dinner and just been a little bit early but Elder Horman asked if I had ever knocked on the house across the street before. I hadn't and we both felt like we needed to, so we did. Billy came out and he seems do prepared. He is a firefighter and is seriously so humble. We talked with him about church and they just moved in and are looking for a church to go to. We testified of the Church of Jesus christ of Latter day saints and talked a lot about how families can be together forever. He seems really interested and said he wanted us to come teach him and his wife. I'm so grateful for the spirit that guides us as missionaries as well as in everyday life for every one of us who is worthy of it.

August 18, 2019

Called to be the 2nd counselor in the stake primary presidency. Way cool setting apart by stake president Raines. He told me that the Lord is pleased with my life. That was such sweet assurance. I do love the Lord and the gospel and know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. President Raines also mentioned simplicity in the blessing. And building people up. I often feel so very different from the norm but I do think I’m good at simplicity and supporting people. It’s always nice to know your strengths are needed.

August 5, 2019

From Mason's email:

We had a ton of service opportunities this week. Seriously the whole day Saturday was spent going from house to storage facility to another house, moving people all day. So I'm definitely feeling the burn. We moved a lot of stuff! But it was cool because Richard showed up to help people move! He was just barely baptized and he was out doing the dirtywork, like 2 weeks after his baptism. He's awesome!
