Hanging with a "sick" Cam rocks.  Movies, coloring, and singing Frozen and other Disney songs is way fun with her.  She never seems to say, "I'm bored."  That's a great quality she has.

We tried Macey's tonight for our ice cream run.  We decided that the dipped chocolate is not as good as Arctic Circle but the ice cream part is better - as is the price.  Fun, I know.

I just smile at the different ways the 3 youngest handle waking up for school in the mornings.  R just rolls right out of bed early.  S asks for 2 more minutes and C rolls to the other side of the bed, puts her head under the pillow, and ignores you.  :)

Yesterday I read a talk - In This Life I Shall Have Joy - by Elaine S Marshall.  It was a BYU Speech from April 2004.  She talked about having a gratitude journal.  It seemed quite similar to President Eyring's recording of tender mercies.  I'm going to try it for a minute.  Each day I will write 3 things I am thankful for.  Fun, I know.  Yesterday's were:
1.  Sandee cooked dinner and it was delish.
2.  Sat by Kenzie in YW.
3.  D said he loves me.

A quote from her talk I really liked, "to live joyfully you must be brave. True joy is not for the fainthearted. You must decide to be happy. Joy is an act of courage. Joy will not abide until you make a conscious decision to treasure it."

Today's thankful moments:
1.  Sun lighting the tops of the mountains this morning and then reading 1 Nephi 11:6 - ...Hasanna to The Lord, the most high God; for he is over all the earth, yea, even above all.  And blessed art though, Nephi, because thou believest in the Son of the most high God.
2.  Rylie reading on her bed.
3.  A successful FHE.

Fantastic evening!  We all went to the BYU basketball game.  To top things off we ate at Brick Oven.  Deliciousness and college hoops?  That is my kind of nite.  And I got to play "Miss Mary Mack" with Sadie.  I also played one I remember slightly from youth that went something like this:

Zing, zing, zing.  Say say oh playmate.  Come out and play with me.  And bring your dollies 3.  Climb up my apple tree.  Slide down my rain barrel.  Into my cellar door.  And we'll be jolly friends, forever - more, more shut the door.
