Randalls had us over for a Memorial Day BBQ with Clayton and Sandee. So enjoyable - burgers and dogs, Sandee’s pickle dip, outside enjoying, and games.

Visited my parents today. We had DAMRRCS. Great afternoon chatting and playing some games outside. Kubb was especially fun. Ry takes such good care of my dad. The poor guy can’t see very well anymore. Glad we could see them today.

Spring May has been absolutely lovely! The flowers, the temperatures, the clouds, the rain! I guess that long winter produced a great spring.

Today was a great Friday with DATKRCS - froyo, SkyJo, book reading outside, taco salad, lots of 4-square. Loved it.

Warm almost summer mornings just hit different. I love them so much. An early morning run before work to start the day. Then some Zao for dinner and 4square playing to celebrate Cam’s graduation day that she didn’t even need since she was already done with things.

May 21, 2023

Great weekend that started on Thursday. Dinner with the girls at Costa Vida followed by comedy with D listening to the pretty funny Brad Upton. Friday night visit with my parents. (Bill the barber whom my dad said was his gpa. Ha ha.) Saturday Capitol Reef exploring. The views this time were extra awesome with clouds. Sunday church with me not teaching. An Italian feast made by Darren for dinner. 4square, jokers and marbles, a walk to the sheep, and family chatting.

Awesome big thing with Cam graduating this week.

A few small good things this week - Workout with D R C. Early morning run (not the one with the adult fall.) May green. Hawk in our front yard tree. Double rainbow. More flowers on a hike. 2 Nephi 8:6 - 6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner. But my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Cam is graduated!  Proud of that girl. She knocked it out of the park senior year finishing Milne classes 1/2 year ahead of schedule and excelling at MTech. She’ll miss her digital marketing friends. After the graduation ceremony (note - sit on the east side for your name to be read sooner) we took a few dim lighted photos and celebrated at Froyo/5 Guys. Cam, Kenz, Tanner, Ry, Cole, Sade, Clayton, Sandee, D, and me.

Am I wearing the same thing today that I wore yesterday? Yes. Will I wear the same thing tomorrow? Most likely.

Here's a pic from yesterday's hike that was a happy surprise with so many yellow flowers.  Three Falls in Alpine.

Happy Mother’s Day pizza party and game night! What a great way to celebrate. We ate some dominos, played some SkyJo, Hues and Cues, and Jackbox games, went to the park, and had a great time together. We missed Sadie who was at work but we snapped a picture with the rest of us.

Reread a great talk this morning from Sister Joy Jones that she gave in October 2017. “We may seldom, if ever, receive huge spiritual manifestations in our lives; but we can frequently savor the sweet whisperings of the Holy Ghost verifying the truth of our spiritual worth.”

Also - Elder Holland’s talk “The Other Prodigal” is so good. Classic 2002 talk.
