Cam busting out the Christmas music - she loves it.  Cam and Mason - especially Cam - singing Classic by MKTO (“Barb and Ken”). Snow College. Going with Mason to Snow College. Taking Mason and Tanner Beck out to lunch. Nickel City on Halloween. Don’t forget Cam’s happy laugh when winning air hockey. Also the racing game and Rayman rabid and the motorcycle game and the dance game and Mason kicking my trash at guitar hero. Darren is the king of the arcade. Seriously - the guy has skills. Halloween sunset. Carved pineapple from Kelly. Cabin GNO time - lots of chatting and some movies and a walk and another walk to get unlocked out of the cabin. Kids playing super Mario Bro’s and laughing. The echo sound of ice cracking on silver lake flat. And the sound of the rocks pinging across. Actually watching some of a World Series game - game 7. Mason reporting to the High council. So thankful for Mason’s mission. Almond joy. The way Jack completely adores Mason - watching them race cars.

Just a beautiful fall day on Tuesday.  Mason and Cam sending snapchats to each other. Also Snapchat filters. Road trip to Richfield and playing name the song with Mason. ideal dairy. Watching hidden figures with Sadie. Ry kicked our behind at Catan. Good primary training with delicious brownies. The Sacrament. That my kids have each other. Listening to anything from sister Hinckley. Hymn 136 - I Know That My Redeemer Lives. Playing Snorta on a Sunday evening. Catching up on movies with Mason.

Things we learned in Cali over fall break.

Fillmore is never a quick stop for food. 

Clayton makes a mean breakfast. 

Southern California has fabulous weather in October. 

You should check the drive time to a place before buying tickets there. 

LA traffic is real.  Ry is way good at boogie boarding. 

Watch out for sting rays. 

Red Robin has never disappointed for dinner. 

Primo Pizza and Pasta was a great Cali eatery pick. 

Cam has video skills. 

King Kong was a cool 3-D movie thing. 

Harry Potter World is fun when you have a Harry Potter smartie daughter. 

Incredibles 2 is a great post mission flick to watch. 

Spikeball on the beach is one of my favorite things ever. 

My family is hilarious. 

Wheelchairs sometimes help you get on rides. 

High tide at some beaches means you lose the beach. 

Seals are way fun to watch while sea lions mostly just stink. 

Sometimes you go a whole day without seeing a taco. 

Sometimes the best way to relax is to stack rocks. 

Family time is so good - made even better when it’s all of you.

Ry is so great!  Love this 17 year old.  We celebrated with beaches and Chick Fil A and urgent care thanks to a sting ray birthday wish.

Some of her favorite things - Costco muffins, especially poppyseed. Pumpkin bread. Starburst. Mini M&Ms. Snapchatting friends. Costa Vida. Chick Fil a. The beach. Pickle ball and spike ball. New shoes. Pizza. Games.

Mason home! Mason home. Mason home. Costa Vida all together again. Seeing Mason and Tanner Beck just laughing. Playing Perudo with Mason back. Bowling with everyone even though it broke the bank (I won). Having Thrasher here. Watching him and Mason talk about mission and go to lunch with different elders from the mission. Going to CVHS region XC meet and watching Kenz coach. Getting Mason new clothes. Panda Express with Cam is always awesome. Cam on her birthday just happy and easy to please. Drink cups left around the house - a sign that Mason is home. Mountain air. Watching Thor with everyone.

Good Sabbath day and homecoming for Mason. He gave a fabulous talk. Then it was friends and family for lunch and chatting and I sure love my two Draper nieces of Gracee and Lilee. It was fun seeing a bunch of Mason’s companions. Also having Tanner Beck around again.

Elder Thrasher was able to stay with us for a few days and we loved getting to know him.

And just like that he’s back. Did it really even happen? Cause he was here and then a little time passed and now he’s back. It just doesn’t seem like two years.

What a good reunion.  I will always be thankful for the ALRM.  Elder Draper had a fabulous 2 years. 

Tanner beck came to visit and it was just like old times and they sat around the table playing Peru - except that they’re discussing scriptures.
