Also - the picture of Camrie.  :)

Covid round 2 for Darren.  And yet he still makes it to the mountains.

January 23, 2022

Another January week.

January makes me love when we’re all home early in the evening and I can lock the door. Then it’s snuggle up in blankets downstairs and watch something. Currently it’s Alone season 7.

Online learning day looked more like Nintendo Switch learning. We thought yesterday was Switch Eve but it was actually Switch delivery day.

Good MLK day off. First up - snow hike with D up AF Canyon. Blue skies and sunshine felt so good.
Then it was a trip to Scheels with DKTC. Shooting gallery was totally fun. Back to Lehi for Zao or Mexiquense. Then Telestrations where we added Sadie in the mix.

January 16, 2022

Things that made me smile this week:

Mail from Brynnlee. And the fact that she has a cat named Bobby Jean.
Baylie following Darren around making sure he doesn’t leave on a hike without her.
Finishing my 6th book for January. I don’t love January, but it does make for a great reading month.
Sadie and Cam playing Minecraft.
Cam and Kenz flat cookies on Sunday.

Remember - Cam with her caprisun and her blue light glasses.

Sadie, how she likes plants and mushrooms and has awesome facts.

Ry, so witty and likes doing puzzles.

January 1, 2022

Started the year off with some pickleball playing. So fun. Artists in the family painted on canvas. More game playing and food (plus muddy buddys) and good times being together.

December 31, 2021

Awesome quick overnight in Torrey for D and I. We hit some scenic drive in Capitol Reef and then the Cohab trail for sunset above the barn. Dinner at the Sunglow Cafe in Bicknell (yum). We stayed at the Broken Spur which was surprisingly a great place to stay. Next day was a hike to Castle Overlook. It started out overcast and then turned to lots of wind. We found some bighorn sheep on our way back. They crossed the trail right in front of us. Way cool to watch them for a bit.

Then it was home to NYE celebrating with everyone! Skull King, marbles and jokers, Darren’s new “Trails” game, food, foosball, left center right, candy bar game, Jackbox games, Switch playing, and ringing in the new year. Awesome!
