Coyote gulch backpack. The most fantastic backpack!Awesome
alcoves, green is out, temps were fabulous (and were projected to be
cold so that was the best surprise), playing Hearts and Clayton kicking
butt and taking names (he got the first heart and that was it), great
camp spot (Clayton totally set up in the “bathroom”) that was 5 minutes
to JH Arch and yet away from the crowds, perfect sitting log by our
tent, soft sand for our tent, evolution of the boys from jumping on logs
to try and keep their feet dry to just accepting wet feet and walking
directly through the water, “birth of a day” with the sun coming through
the arch, “birth of a night” with the moon coming through the arch
(moon was cooler), cool striped tall walls at our campsite, the oasis
(I’ve waited 4 years to get back to that spot) with a waterfall and soft
sand and green contrast with the red for one of my very favorite lunch
spots, Darren getting to see Stevens Arch, hanging with Mason, so many
smiles and views. It was just the best 3 days “playing with the boys”
(as Kenny Loggins sings.) Darren, me, Mason, Clayton, Taylor, Brian, and
Taylor’s friend Taylor.
