Went to lunch with Kenz and then running shoes shopping.  Lots of fun talking with this girl.  She's just so cool.  She took M to go get a smoothie when we got back - more coolness.

Fun day as I got to do 2 things with D I haven't done in a long time - play Rock Band and ping pong.  Fun, I know.

3 things made my snowshoeing amazing today:

1.  How the snow would blow off the trees and sparkle and it is lit from the sun.
2.  Looking across a snow covered meadow that just sparkled.
3.  Things being so quiet that you could hear the sound of thawing.

Mason wins sibling of the year for sleeping in the basement with Sadie last nite.  What a cool big brother!

Also cool are impromptu snowflake/paper airplane making sessions.  Unless you get hit with said airplane.  That happens.

XC awards banquet was tonite.  I could never sum up and capture how awesome XC has been for Kenz and how much I have enjoyed it.  She received the Pioneer Pride award and that's pretty cool.

Kenz summed it up best with a quote, "Endings are almost always a little sad, even when there is something to look forward to on the other side."  (Emily Giffin)

Kenz is such the dedicated runner.  It's a bit inspiring.  She gets her run in no matter the weather or inconvenience.  She's cool like that.

I like church history sites.  We stopped at Cove Fort.  It was cool and we learned where when you yell "shotgun" to sit in the front comes from.  Fun, I know.
