Ry said "munkst" tonite. I just smile that that word has stuck around after since 1992 or so. My Snow friends and I made it up and it is now used by my kids. :)
Definition - messed up.

Took the car to get the tires rotated and when I walked into Big O the smell of tires and such took me back to the summers of 1992 and 93 working at the warehouse for UDOT. I didn't like that job. That happens.

Thank you Samuel Medley for the amazing words to a powerful song:
I Know That My Redeemer Lives
1. I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, me ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
2. He lives to grant me rich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives to comfort me when faint.
He lives to hear my soul's complaint.
He lives to silence all my fear.
He lives to wipe away my tears.
He lives to calm my troubled heart.
He lives all blessings to impart.
3. He lives, my kind, wise heav'nly Friend.
He lives and loves me to the end.
He lives, and while he lives, I'll sing.
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King.
He lives and grants me daily breath.
He lives, and I shall conquer death.
He lives my mansion to prepare.
He lives to bring me safely there.
4. He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
"I know that my Redeemer lives!"
He lives! All glory to his name!
He lives, my Savior, still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
"I know that my Redeemer lives!"

Went on a hike this morning. I love seeing the beauty and breathing in the mountain air. The sound of rain on the leaves topped off the hike.

I way love watching Kenz run! She is just so cool. And good! And while I am on the Kenz subject, she always has toast at 10pm. I hope I never forget her late nite snack eating.

Sadie is the cutest 1st grader today. She just looks so cute in her pink and white striped skirt with her hair in a pony tail and her cute Nike shoes on her little feet.

I am old because I enjoy just sitting outside. Then again 40 is old so I guess I am just acting my age.

Our Sunday family walks always include throwing hoonies (baby crab apple things) at each other. Fun, I know.

It is always fun to watch your kids play sports, but this weekend was especially cool watching Mason play awesome defense for 3 straight games and seeing Kenz totally rock her first XC meet and win a tshirt.

A typical Sunday afternoon for us lately. I just finished a puzzle with Sadie while listening to Hilary Weeks station on Pandora. Kenz is blogging, while Mason is napping and Ry plans a puppet show while Cam colors.

I like hearing the kids talk about what their siblings like. For example, tnite Kenz and Sadie were coloring and Sadie said, "I should color this giraffe for Rylie - she loves giraffes."

With the exception of Sundays, I don't think I have done Sadie's hair at all this summer. That happens.

Apparently we all know a bunch of Webkinz songs. Someone started siging one and we all started singing - even Kenz and Mase. "Tiger, tiger...", "Mustache Louie", "Piggy plum pie, with an ice cream high". Oh boy.
